Summary
Eddie notices how tight Steve's shoulders are when he helps him apply some salve. So he offers Steve a backrub and they both get more.
-“Come on bedroom, let's go.” Despite the reasons why he should not, Steve finds himself stumbling after Eddie. “Get changed, it'll be more comfortable.” Eddie says as he tosses a pair of sweats at Steve and they smack him in the face as he enters the room.
Steve changes quickly as Eddie digs through the closet for something before his eyes land on the stained mattress and he cannot help frowning in disgust. "Take this the wrong way, your mattress is disgusting and I don't want my bare skin touching that."
Eddie rolls his eyes as his hand finally lands on the quilt he was looking for that has been buried in the back of the closet since they moved to this new trailer. No need for the heavy thing when winter is not here. He pulls it out and flicks his wrists as he turns, unfolding it mid air before it lays over the whole of his mattress hiding it from sight. "That better you royal priss?" Eddie asks, barely offended, the mattress is older than he is, he knows it is gross looking.

Summary
Because once a week, he had the house entirely to himself from nine am to eight at night while he had his usual day off at the library and Robin was in class all day (and Eddie was on tour). He didn’t need the run of it, of course, because Robin would actually kill him if she found out he was engaging in sex acts in the kitchen — but it was nice to know he could be, like, loud and shift if he needed to.
(That, actually, might have been the only other thing Robin judged him for, but, in his defense, he grew up alone in a big ass house — he never really had to learn to be quiet.)
So he took advantage of it, and put on some pretty clothes and imagined some guy railing him in them.
In which Steve has a fantasy. Couple of 'em, in fact.

Hop said it’s a bad habit he’s gotten himself into, these night drives. Patrolling the town when everyone’s asleep, nobody to ask the question of why Steve Harrington drives circles through Hawkins past midnight every night.
It’s nearing one a.m. and Steve sighs, because—shit. There's a van on the side of the road that wasn't there on his last lap.
He can’t drive off now. He’s already stopped. Already committed, so Steve swings his keys around his finger and sighs again. Opens the car door.
He comes to a stop a few paces away from the van. Raises his voice slightly when he says, “Hello?”
“Fucking—what, hello? What?” comes a voice from the other side of the van. “Who—jesus, if I’m about to get murdered, I swear to—wait. Harrington? Steve Harrington?”

Or; Steve patrols the streets of Hawkins every night, looking for monsters. One night, he finds Eddie.
