Summary
In the Grim Darkness of the far future there is only Regret.
Sister Marianne, veteran of Armageddon III, heroine of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, is commanded by the Inquisition to infiltrate a squad responsible for the loss of an ancient artefact holy to the Adepta Sororitas. She alone must determine whether the squad under Sister Superior Héloïse, on a mission of retrieval and redemption, have been tainted by the powers of heresy and chaos, or divinely inspired by the God-Emperor Himself.
This is the POALOF / Warhammer 40k crossover that the world definitely never asked for. There is not much scope for fluff in the forty-first millennium as a rule, but I shall do my very best.
I shall also do my very best to update weekly.
But no promises on either.
Ave Imperator.

Summary
Miranda had a plan. A nice, easy plan to have it out with Jack in the comfort of her own cabin when Shepard finally stopped hovering like a worried mother hen. They would beat each other senseless. There would be insults. And it would be bloody glorious.
But then they made it back from that one-way trip, and things changed. Miranda changed. Jack changed. And somewhere along the line, a mutual desire to bash each other’s heads in turned into something strange and very, very messy.
And Miranda doesn’t have a plan for that.

Summary
Maybe it all means nothing. Shadowheart doesn’t know, and hasn’t for a long time. All she knows is that the voice of God is silent, and she yearns for its guidance in a form more comprehensible than an intermittent, stabbing pain in her hand.
So maybe she’s tired of feeling empty. Maybe she wants something to fill her in a more definable sense. She’s sick of obscurities, of foggy memories, of always second-guessing her own interpretations.
(“Do not mistake me,” rasps Lae’zel, amidst the celebrations back in camp. “I despise you. But I want to taste you all the same.”)
Well. Memory eludes her, but she's sure she's settled for less in the past.

Summary
Lae'zel was strange. That was one of the few things Shadowheart didn't doubt. So when Lae'zel started being weird and intense, Shadowheart had no reason to think she should read anything in it. And surely Lae'zel wouldn't be coming on to her, right?
