Summary
Alex is rushing in from the labs with a small blonde girl in her arms – the child is nestled in one of Alex’s hoodies, bare feet kicking lightly against Alex’s stomach. Maggie, who had been granted access long ago, looks equally harried as she comes in from the parking garage carrying a tiny girl wrapped in a towel – only the tiny dark haired child is wailing inconsolably and clinging to her tightly.
When the two women see each other they stop and stare for a moment, taking in what’s going on before Maggie exclaims with wide eyes, “Kara?!”
The blonde child perks up at her name, Alex rocks her tenderly, patting her back as she confirms, “Yep, Kara and a couple more at CatCo were kiddified. Who’s that?”
Maggie is desperately trying to calm the girl in her arms who hasn’t stopped crying since she and Sam managed to get her out from behind the sofa in the CFO’s office. The child has been sobbing so hard her cheeks are red and blotchy and she’s hiccupping. Maggie rocks her softly, bouncing her on her hip as she tries to comfort her, “It’s okay, niña. You’re safe here, Lena.”

“Addison! What are you doing here?” Meredith interjected before she could say anything to the man.
“Really, you’d know if you paid a little more attention to the hospital gossip. Richard hired me as the new head of OB,” she said before turning to Derek, holding out her hand. “Hi. I’m Addison Forbes Montgomery-Grey.”
She watched with glee as his face paled.
“Montgomery-Grey?” he asked weakly.
By now, Meredith was hiding her own smirk behind her hand as Derek glanced between the two women in confusion.
Addison couldn’t help but get one last quip in, “And you must be the man who’s been screwing over my wife.”
