Theo made a sleepy noise of confusion, and an expression washed over his face that was untellingly full of remorse.
“No it's not.” He murmured.
This was karma for leeching onto Billy for refuge, allowing himself to be guided by such a creature, and taking out his frustrations on innocent players as the shoebill had taught him to do. How he allowed Billy to strip away the sliver of humanity he had left to pour it with even more violence.

Summary
Parrot has learnt a few things about how this time travel thing works:
1. It is a time loop, not a second chance.
2. His body resets every loop, every injury, body modification, and physical pain. (He can't say the same for mentally) other than Theo's feather and Wifies' pendant.
3. He is sent in any point of time when Wifies was on Unstable. (No before, no after)
4. A loop ends whenever either he or Wifies dies. (He dies a little after Wifies, passing out, then sleep taking him quietly)
....it's always Wifies, isn't it?
Parrot tries to save Wifies. Not just Wifies, but mainly Wifies... In multiple ways, some may disagree with the ethics, but it's the only thing he can really do in a situation such as this. Over, and over, and over... and over again. This doesn't go so well considering a lot of things.
Or, Parrot is a time looper, apparently for the sole reason to save his ex-best friend.

Summary
An Unstable Universe/Hunger Games crossover because two of my obsessions in one place? Yes. Also I typed up 5 chapters BEFORE spokes most recent video. Any plot similarities are purely coincidental. Also i modified the thing to make it NOT BOUNDARY BREAKING.
Here's a little snippet lol:
Their little family was a little perfect perfect solar system. Theo was the sun, his bright and happy demeanor shining light upon Earth and the Moon. Wifies, Crescent, was the Moon. Reflecting Theo’s light further onto the Earth, lighting up the darkest night. So what if Wifies needed a little help? He was perfect. Besides, even if he lost one of his brothers today, he couldn’t lose both. He wouldn’t lose his sun. Parrot was the Earth. Dark without his Sun and Moon. They didn’t really need him.

Summary
“You know what you are, don’t you?” Wifies asked.
His voice was quiet, but it spread through the dream like poison through water. Parrot shook his head, or tried to, but the shadows held him still. Wifies looked past him toward where Theo’s body lay in the mud, arrows rising from him like a crown made by a cruel hand.
“You’re a curse,” Wifies said. “And everyone who loves you learns it too late.” The burning sky collapsed inward, and Parrot fell with it.

Parrot woke with a sound that did not feel human. He shot upright in bed, choking on air, his hands were clawing at the blanket twisted around his legs as if it had not been the thing holding him down. For several terrifying seconds, the room around him refused to become real. The wooden walls swam in the dim light, the half-open window looked like a mouth full of night, and the chair near the bed seemed at first like another figure standing in smoke. His sword leaned against the wall where he had left it, the floor was clean, and there were no arrows, no armies. no mud slick with blood beneath his hands. Still, his body did not believe any of it.
