Perihelion is in a sour mood.
Deep in its clustered and multitudinous accesses there is an anomalous glitch it cannot pinpoint. It knows that this error is caused by a faulty servo, a part of a small internal aperture within its ventilation system that is designed to prevent the spread of fire or airborne contaminants, but it has thus far been unable to pinpoint which specific servo and indeed which stopgap aperture this is.
This knowledge has been itching away at its vast digital brain for the past two tendays, an issue that requires resolving but is continuously being backburnered due to more pressing concerns.

Summary
Mensah laughs under her breath, moving to snuggle Tainara back up against her chest and rubbing her back again. She watches through the window as the lanterns wink out one by one, leaving only the wide slash of stars illuminating the lawn. Reflected in the glass panes, she sees SecUnit turn its face toward her, starlight mirrored in its eyes. It looks at her with such open admiration that her heart squeezes. She feels an edge of guilt; to be so admired when she is so weak, so scared all the time.
She doesn't deserve it.
She pretends not to see.

Murderbot, Three, Dr. Ratthi, and ART attend a convention. Murderbot and ART have been at each others throats for days leading up the event, so Ratthi decides it's time everyone took a little break from each other. Some minor mishaps ensue.
In their defense, they were left unsupervised.
