Summary
As prince Curufinwë Fëanáro makes an historical speech from the high court of the King upon Túna, those at the back of the crowd strain to hear.
A silly little scene inspired by Monty Python's "Blessed are the Cheesemakers" scene from The Life of Brian, written for SWG's Everyman Challenge April 2026, using the prompt:
"A great multitude gathered swiftly, therefore, to hear what he would say; and the hill and all the stairs and streets that climbed upon it were lit with the light of many torches that each one bore in hand." ("Of the Flight of the Noldor")

Summary
Into the silence, his father had spoken. Quiet, so quietly, for unlike some of his brothers, he preferred not to shout. Celegorm was loud and brash, the fire exploding outwards, and Curufin the cold darkness that crept in and smothered the embers. He had reminded them of the Bragollach. He had reminded them that the Sons of Fëanor were not the worst of what was lurking there, that their Oath would be far better than the vengeance Morgoth would bring against Nargothrond and Doriath both.
Nargothrond was safe. Its people did not feel safe enough to disbelieve him.

Summary
He thought again of Finrod, who had battled and lost. Maglor was a mightier singer than his cousin (or he had been, once), but he was weakened now, battered and bruised, and weary from long years of wandering in loneliness and in grief, and with neither any great cause nor allies, nor friends to support him.
Maglor's wanderings take him up the Anduin, where orcs find him and take him to Dol Guldur--where the Necromancer dwells.
