Cassian nodded. "After a mission, being alone is… difficult."
"So I've noticed," she bemoaned. "As the resident expert, what would you recommend?"
"A friend." Cassian shrugged. "And something a lot stronger than that," he finished with a smile. Reaching into his satchel, he pulled out an unlabeled bottle of amber liquid that he set on the table.
Mon cautiously returned his smile. She hadn't had the luxury of friends in a long while.

Cassian takes Mon back to Yavin after their escape from the Senate. A month later, they're sent out on a mission to Canto Bight and in the aftermath a situationship develops. This is a prequel to Risks Worth Taking, and part one of my Paramours & Propriety series.

After the Battle of Scarif, the Rebellion receives intel there were survivors. After an extraction team is sent out to retrieve them, Mon and Cassian come to terms with a situationship that's evolved beyond what they anticipated.
Set post season 2 of Andor and Post-Rogue One. A fluffy, romantic, fix-it fic with some angst/anxiety that ultimately allows me to wrap these characters in a blanket and tell them everything is going to be okay.

The first thing she noticed when the door opened was Cal, sitting hunched and with his knees up in the middle of the pathway. The second thing she noticed was the fast, shaky breaths Cal seemed to be taking.
Merrin came to sit beside him, not saying anything or looking at him, even when he immediately and furiously wiped his tears away. Instead, she looked to the sky, at the infinite stars that were scattered across it. She gave Cal a minute of silence before finally speaking.
“Please do not hide your pain.”

She should feel out of place, he thinks. When he had first seen her, tense and scared and, again alone, she had still been polished. Shiny and remote. A relic lain on the shelf in Luthen’s gallery. But she doesn’t feel out of place here in his grimy ship. There’s fresh ghosts about her, now. Her eyes are newly darkened by death. She is still wearing his coat.
