“Anything interesting?” Carina asked, starting to walk away from the ER with Link by her side.
“Ugh, not at all.” The blond sighed. “Just a broken wrist. What about you?”
“A mom took a fall. Nothing serious, the baby looks fine but she does have a bruise on her belly so I’m admitting her for 24 hours observation.” The OB explained.
Link nodded as he pressed the elevator button to get it to open it’s doors. “I hope everything goes well.” He said with a charming smile. “Hey, your wife’s last name is Bishop, right?” He asked out of the blue.
The Italian chuckled at the odd question. “Technically, that’s my last name too.” She pointed at the name stitched into her lab coat.
Link laughed under his breath at his slip. “Of course, I forgot for a second.”
The elevator dinged open and they both stepped inside. “Why do you ask?” The Italian wondered, pressing the button for the third floor.
“Because my patient’s last name is Bishop as well, I just thought it was curious.” The Ortho doc commented nonchalantly, stuffing his hands in his scrub pants’ pockets.
Carina’s brows knitted as she turned to face the man. “What’s his first name?” She inquired.
“Mason. Mason Bishop.”
