    Caitlyn’s gaze lingers on Vi’s mouth, tracing the scar that cuts through the left side of her upper lip. “How did you get that scar?”

    For a moment, Vi goes quiet. Something unreadable flickers across her face, there and gone before Caitlyn can name it. Then Vi shakes her head, a low chuckle slipping out. “Got in a fight with my sister.”

    Caitlyn straightens, startled. “You have a sister?”

    “Yeah,” Vi says, casual. “Twin, actually.”

    Caitlyn blinks. “You do not.”

    “I do.”

    “You’ve never mentioned her.”

    Vi leans in, a sly grin tugging at her mouth. “You never asked.”

    Caitlyn and Vi quickly become close friends. Caitlyn and Violet... tolerate each other.

    Surely they don't both fall for Caitlyn, right?

    The bow awaits its rightful heir.

    Thus goes the tale of Piltover’s doom,
    Darkness defeated in the Queen’s own tomb,
    The exiled wolf would hide away,
    We can but pray she’ll return one day.

    Fifteen years after a battle that left Runeterra without a queen, the world has become a dark place with power struggles in every corner of the realm; and there is little the queen's heir, Caitlyn, thought she could do about it. She'd been living in exile ever since Piltover fell, and had neither means, nor ambition to reclaim the throne. When darkness catches up with her, however, she must face up to her insecurities and rise to the evil that threatens her kingdom. Help comes from unlikely places, as she bands together with a gang of mercenaries, led by the notorious Hound, to unite the kingdom and face the evil that had taken her mother from her.
