A semicolon is used to commemorate someone’s survival, since it is often used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. Related to the semicolon interpretation, Robin finds himself in a situation where he comes home to find a silent home. Driven with fear he rushes to the bathroom to find a shivering Regina under the running water with her heart in her hands.
