Devastating! Darth Karver Obi-Wan Kenobi!
The republic has two sets of slaves, very very publicly. Cody is not morally just here, we know his second Jedi was Krell, as of his first? Unknown and dead
But Cody and Kenobi are actually working on communicating, it looks like the mutual understanding of slavery is pushing them through this significantly
Bail is sent to Cody to go on a negotiation mission. But the Sith interfere as CIS members, Xanatos at the head of it. This causes problems because Xanatos knows Obi-Wan drama and there's Satine at this discussions. This goes about as well as one can expect when Obi-Wan previously had an Anakin-esque breakdown concerning Satine asking "Ben Kenobi" to stay but not "Darth Karver" or "Obi-Wan Kenobi". Ben stayed with Satine, but Karver left.
Satine wished "bad luck" on Obi-Wan, she did not mean slavery. But here is where he's at. -

Summary
After talking with some younglings about their anxieties around joining the clone army as commanders, Ahsoka decides to start a video series to alleviate their fears. Somehow, this saves the galaxy.

There are whispers amongst the vode that there’s more to the war than meets the eye. Conversations quickly shut down in fear of who’s listening. It’s no secret that the Galactic Republic is a highly corrupt government. After all, most senators are willing to look the other way as millions of men are forced into fighting this war without even given a proper name. Ahsoka wants to help her brothers, in any way possible, no matter how small. But small actions can lead to much bigger changes. A ripple affect through space and time that not even Palpatine can predict. Now, the clone troopers aren’t just fighting separatists. They’re fighting something much more complex. Much older. Much more powerful than even the Jedi are aware.
Will Ahsoka and her brothers uncover the truth and stop Palatine’s rise to power? Or will Palpatine stop them and take back control of the situation? Only time will tell as war, politics, espionage, treason, and a very popular holonet series shape the future of the galaxy.

Things go so totally sideways and the plot gets complex (hell yeah). Fox... listen listen, sometimes we just wanna see him be forced into politicsCody cuts off Krell's head, Fives gets Palpatine with a chair and its not played for laughs, Rex shoots Palpatine
And theres an actual send off and ending chapters and happiness and epilogue things. Cody and Obi-Wan are married oh and yeah Obi-Wan almost got devoured by the force for reasons
Absolutely understandable, having him coherent and functional for the final fight wouldve made several plot points completely unavailableCody is treated as a mythological figure this entire fic as he should

Perhaps especially when it hurts. I let it get ahold and it’s chronic at this point. Even if I never loved again, I will always have… this.” He spread a hand over his own chest and already, he could feel the stuttering slip of petals and leaves threatening. He kept his breathing slow and shallow, and the threat passed—for now.
OR: a peek into a galaxy where Obi-Wan suffers from chronic Hanahaki, a condition where flowers grow in his lungs, and despite his best efforts, he waters them every day.

Summary
The General pops out of the tent, scowling, and hurls a blanket- which Cody recognizes as one from the man's nest- sending a cloud of dust into the air when it lands. Skywalker winces, rubbing the back of his neck.
Cody decides, abruptly, that he is too tired for this and will be spending the night in the medical tent.
He is not quiet enough, obviously, because the General calls out, “Ah, Commander, you’re back! Apologies for all this,” he pauses to send another glare at his former Padawan, “I’ll be finished ridding the tent of foreign stench in a second, and the space will be all yours.”
It is then that Cody realizes his entire life is a fucking joke.
(or, Cody has never given much thought to things such as nesting and courting. This is, as it turns out, a mistake.)
