Soundwave tries to quell rumors of him dating Starscream by publically rejecting the SIC. Starscream tries to prove how great he is to Soundwave, since NO ONE can reject Starscream (even if he has no idea what any of this is about). Soundwave believes that Starscream is up to no good, and tries to throw Starscream off guard with reccomendations from his cassettes.

‘What are you girls up to?’ A hesitant voice cuts through the tense discussion, and the girls jump and turn around to see Sabine Dupain-Cheng in the doorway.
‘Just watching a movie. Girl talk. You know.’ Marinette says, as casually as she can while she’s basically draped around Chloé.
‘And talking about how Chloé’s not going to the dance next week to avoid her snake of an ex-girlfriend.’ Alya says candidly, and Marinette and Chloé turn exasperated looks at their friend. Alya holds up her hands. ‘What? It’s not a secret. Besides, you agree with me and Mari, right Mrs Dupain-Cheng? We think Chloé should still go.'

A school dance is coming up and Marinette and Chloé have separate, perfectly worked out plans for how the night will go. Only nothing goes quite to plan.
