Summary
After the past two years or fear and unpredictability, Henry Sinclair was more than happy to spend his summer playing the part of an average teenager working in the new mall. But, with his 18th birthday looming ever closer, a best friend who inspired feelings far greater than friendship, and the special instincts he kept hidden from the world pulling him in a direction he couldn't quite comprehend, it seemed he wouldn't get that wish.
Unfortunately for him, Henry’s life was far from ordinary, he would never, ever be average, and the summer of 1985 was shaping up to prove that.

Summary
One way or another, Henry Sinclair had made it through most of 1984.
Time had passed by easily and he was just another citizen of Hawkins who was happy (or at least content) to live the day-to-day in blissful routine. That was not to say the year was without incident, none ever was, but 1984 was nothing special. No matter what petty problems cropped up or issues that plagued the country as a whole, Hawkins felt settled—stable—just like it had for every year Henry had lived there.
With that single, glaring exception.
And now, it seemed that 1983 had bled into ’84.

Summary
By the time the calendar read November of 1983, Henry was well aware that his name had changed.
Sure, on paper it was the same name his parents had given him the day he’d been born: Henry Joseph Sinclair. But, that was just legally. Ask anyone around Hawkins—even the ones who didn’t know him personally—about the handsome young man driving a 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass and they’d all call him by the same name:
Henry “The Kid Who Fell Off the Quarry (and Lived!)” Sinclair.

Summary
When Billy brings his crush home after being paired with him on a school project, he only asks his siblings for one thing: to not be weird for five minutes. Of course, when it comes to the Vasquez-Bromfield-Freeman-Batson-Peña-Choi-Dudley household, that just isn't a realistic request.
