Summary
At the beginning of the Hogwarts 1977-1978 school year, James Potter finds a cat and Regulus Black finds a Horcrux.
These events are not unrelated.
What follows is a deal to their mutual benefit: James helps Regulus hone the finer details of advanced transfiguration, and in return, Regulus teaches James what he knows of occlumency and legilimency. James is pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoys their lessons, certainly more than he thought he would considering what (admittedly little) he knows of Sirius’s younger brother. Regulus, for his part, thought he was smart enough to know that anyone with as many secrets as him has no business teaching fucking mind reading to another person. Especially when that person is James Potter.
There is affection—the kind that only comes from meeting someone you never expected to understand you. And there is war—a looming thunderhead that neither of them wants to see consume the other.
The rest is a matter of secrets, family, and letting go.

“You’ve always been quick to dismiss yourself before. Why did you choose today to linger, I wonder?”
Crowley slid to the floor, knees bent and thighs splayed open. The first hint of a wet spot was starting to soak through the dark denim.
“Or maybe you thought you might get lucky and attract the attention of the alpha you’ve been flirting with. How long has it been? At least five years since you first rubbed up on me at that holiday party, I think. Do you remember meeting me, omega? You were cute enough to earn a job recommendation, so I hope you do.”
Crowley whined softly at Aziraphale’s reminder. “I was young and dumb. And drunk.”
“I was very drunk too, but I still remember the moment clearly: the way you pressed your cute little backside up against my hip for far too long to have been an accidental brush as you’d squeezed past me. And then the lingering touch of your fingers on my wrist, right on my scent gland, as you pretended to apologise with a smirk that really said ‘you’re welcome’. I saw you smelling your fingers as you walked away, wicked fiend, and I think you meant for me to.”

Summary
The Blacks want to marry off their youngest child. He begs Sirius for help and tells him a secret: He is a man and would rather die than be forced to be anyone's wife.
Panicked, Sirius arranges a marriage between his brother and his friend James Potter, knowing that Regulus can be the man he is in the English countryside on James' estate.James wants to ensure Regulus' happiness, even at the expense of putting his life on hold for a while.
Regulus wants to ensure James doesn't fall into societal ruin because of him.
Sirius wants to be loved.
Barty must decide whether he wants to keep causing destruction or choose redemption.
And Remus is just a very tired butler who watches James and Regulus dance around their actual feelings (literally).(Trans Reggie; set in the Victorian Age, 1890s. No horrible homophobia or transphobia depicted. Dysphoria is thematised.)

Crowley ne leva pas immédiatement les yeux lorsqu’il entendit la porte de la boutique s’ouvrir ; il était en train de finir la réalisation d’un bouquet compliqué, et ce fichu ruban rendait les choses difficiles.
“Une seconde,” dit-il en grondant lorsque le bout de ruban lui échappa à nouveau.
Il y eut un silence. Puis une voix douce : “Te voilà.”Un client inhabituel entre dans la boutique de fleurs d'Anthony avec une demande très spécifique. Univers Alternatif, série, complète, angst avec une fin heureuse.
(Résumé de la série : Pendant trois siècles, Crowley s'est réincarné encore et encore en tant qu'humain sans souvenir de son passé.
