Summary
So Kenny sits down in art class and pulls out the textbook from his plastic bag that he uses for all his classes. Ms. Foster comes into the classroom and starts the worst lesson since Mr. Mackey’s Sex Ed, and Butters stares at him in horror from across the room and Kenny rests his eyes because God forbid he passes up the chance for a nap in art class, and everything is normal.
Reel that back. Pause.
Butters stares at him in horror. That is not normal.
When Butters remembers his death, Kenny makes it his mission to figure out what it is about him that made this possible—and accidentally falls in love instead.

Three years after everything ended, high school dropout Michael Wheeler spends his days rotting in his parents’ basement. William Byers quit school to work three jobs, El Hopper is still locked up at home hiding from the government and Max Mayfield is stuck working as Hawkins’ switchboard operator after having been robbed of her future. Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair are the only ones who managed to burn out their way through High School, but neither have the energy to continue into college.
The solution? Steal Ted Wheeler’s van and go on a road trip.
The destination? Vegas.
The objective? Rob it blind.AKA an actually realistic post-canon AU that doesn’t involve making Mike straight or killing El off & where the characters’ trauma actually has consequences on their psyche and futures.

Mike’s stomach drops all the way to the Squawk’s basement. Shit. “No! I mean— Of course you were!”
Mike and Will finally have a moment alone after the MAC-Z battle to discuss Will's newly revealed abilities. Will jumps on the chance to mess with him, and Mike falls for it. And for Will, too.

Butters doesn’t really care about putting names on things or trying to understand the deeper intricacies of this sort of subject matter, but he’s happy enough to go wherever the road takes him.

Summary
After HADES conquered Meridian, Nil found himself escaping the destruction with an unusual noble he found in the burning rubble. It didn't work. Her voice wavered enough for even Butters to notice. And like an open book, Lotta could read the confusion on his face morph, until everything clicked into place and his eyes widened.
“Did you and Kenny… break up or something?”
Lotta and Butters run into each other at a party. The two of them land on a topic that Lotta has been trying not to think about, knowing that the second it would come up, there was no way for her to run from it.
