Summary
Every Trueblood was taught, from the time they were born, about their history, and what their history meant for their lives. As one of the Original houses, a house descended from an angel, not the Mortal Cup, they all had... Abilities.
Truebloods? They had the ability to place a single Mark.
Once a target was Marked - there was no escaping the ensuing Hunt. The Trueblood who Marked them would find them, and kill them with the Trueblood blade; a blade that was handed to them from the angel that sired them to the first of the line.
Alec Lightwood has selected his Mark. Asmodeus, Greater Demon and Prince of Hell.
