Summary
Working in a bookstore had its charms. A lovely atmosphere with all the books you could ever read along with a beautiful view of his beloved city. Yes, Chuuya loved working in this peaceful corner away from the outside world. The downside? The customers. Especially one in particular.
Enter Dazai Osamu. An annoying yet mysterious new addition to his shop, Chuuya can hardly stand the man as he comes with only one purpose in mind: to torment Chuuya.
An author by trade, Dazai finds himself fascinated by this bookstore owner whose shop he seemingly wandered into one rainy day.
At first they can’t help but detest one another but as time passes and Dazai’s visits frequent, the two find themselves more drawn to each other and see that they share more than they thought.
Join Chuuya as he finds that there is more to this troublesome customer than meets the eye and join Dazai as he discovers that something so simple as fate can bring even the most unlikely of people together.

Summary
Dazai looks nervous, and Chuuya can’t crack why. He definitely looks wrong, though, like he’s about to jump out of his skin.
Which does happen when something makes a particularly loud noise outside. Dazai’s head whips in that direction, his whole body tenses, and he clutches the plushie in his arms like letting it go would mean sudden death.
“You’re scared,” Chuuya realizes. “You’re scared of this, why didn’t you tell me?”
/or: dazai is scared of sleeping in the woods so chuuya cuddles him to sleep
