Summary
Finally, after all these years, Roy Mustang was ascending to Führer. He thought he was prepared for everything that would come his way, but the people of Amestris wanted to know whether he would ever choose a wife.
Unfortunately for him, he only has one woman in mind, and he’s afraid she’ll blow his head off if he asks.
“Lieutenant, are you stuck in your dress?”
Despite herself, she couldn’t keep her placid expression and puffed out her cheek. With a strained exhale she muttered, “Rebecca was the one who zipped me up earlier. I figured I could reach but—” she met his eye and cut herself off, before steeling her voice and quickly continuing, “But I’ll get myself out of it.”
Mustang slowly rose out of his seat and stepped closer. “Lieutenant, will you let me help?”

Summary
A flash of red catches his gaze and makes him linger for just long enough to see it; a sharp, shallow cut across the center of her chest, just above her breasts, clearly done with a thin knife. On the tops of her breasts themselves, there are more bruises that he can't even begin to identify the cause of- just that they're purplish red and scratchy-looking above the hem of her black lace bra. This, paired with the marks on her wrist from last week that she is still clearly hiding with her long sleeves, are almost enough to set him off.
Almost.
Instead, with the most calm, casual tone he can manage, Roy asks-
"What happened to your chest?"
"And why were you looking at my chest?" Riza scolds with a plastered on smirk as she tugs her shirt up. "Keep your eyes to yourself."
The rest of their team, who clearly have not seen her injuries, turn to start dogging on him for being a pervert (nothing new). Roy's attention, however, is not deterred.
