    Jack hadn’t intended to get involved with a British sailor, much less one who was very probably Navy; but James was an utter delight, both in and out of bed.

    They established rules early on: no surnames, no identifiable details. Blissful ignorance and all. But they both knew deep down that the rules were really more like guidelines anyway.
