Summary
“It might be old to others, but retro to those who appreciate its worth.”
• • •
When two kids from the neighbourhood come knocking at the door of your vintage store asking if you want a CRT, they've got two conditions for you.
One: you need to actually use the TV.
Two: you can't sell it, no matter the price.
Following their request, you set ‘Tenna' in your shop as a means for people to test the games they want before buying them.
Until, one day, you fall ill to the point of being bedridden, and you can't open the shop and bring in the usual attention he gets.
The next day, you wake up to the same CRT now with a humanoid body, worried as can be about both your sudden absence and the lack of his usual audience.
He nurses you back to health, and eventually, the start of something new blooms between you.
Before you know it, Tenna becomes a hotshot in your little shop, entertaining his audience not just with his inanimate form during the day, but with his sentient form during the night, too.
The difference between the two?
His night shows are for your eyes only.
