    He misses that old, withering ship that never buckled or yielded. The deafening sound of wind in the sails and waves crashing against creaking, wooden planks. The arid, bitter tang of salt in the air that would make the left side of his face sting. The near endless expanse of the sea and sky, so vast you couldn't tell where one ended and the other began. The crew he grew to love as not just friends, but family.

    He misses his freedom. His captain.

    Even without a quirk, Izuku Midoriya never gave up on the dream he’s carried since childhood.
