Rumi's hands begin to shake. "...what do you see?" she whispers.
"A demon. I don't trust you. Not with me, not with Zoey, not with yourself. You're no different than any other demon we've come across. No different than Gwi-Ma."
There is a shocked silence.
Rumi face crumples, it reminds them of the way she begged just a few weeks ago. Begged them not to leave her. To love her. Things had been so good, she was selfish to think she could have this. To want this.
Her tone is flat and resigned. "Oh."-------
or Rumi tries to hide her full demon traits after the idol awards to protect Zoey and Mira from her, and out of fear that their new fragile relationship will break under the reveal. Mira lashes out in the worst way possible after she catches Rumi in yet another lie, and angst ensues.

Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.

Summary
When Caitlyn’s car stalls out on her way to her family's annual Christmas Holiday week at the Kiramman estate, a small town mechanic she'd never met before becomes her only rescue. Little do either of them know that their paths will continue to get tangled as the week goes on, leading to awkward situations and an impromptu plot to keep Caitlyn's ex at bay.
Christmas parties and tree trimming galore, will they be able to keep the facade up? Will the lie be found out? Or will their plan fall apart as they grow closer together?
