Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is left without backup, without guidance, and without a home to return to after the Jedi Temple falls. With a gaggle of children now relying upon him to protect their future as the Sith Empire rises, he must grapple with his complicated history and return to Mandalore. He is more than aware that as a Jedi, many Mandalorians would be happy to kill him without mercy, the only comfort is his familiarity with their culture, that even if they kill him, at least they will protect the children, and that ultimately has to be enough.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...things happened differently.
The order for an army of clones gets cancelled. Except these clones are still young, the oldest of them not quite six, and genetically modified to be incredibly capable. Some of them escape, taking younger cadets, tubies, and even incubation tubes if they can.
On Coruscant, in the neighborhood of Little Keldabe in Galactic City, a Mandalorian gets herself in way over her head after she continues to notice six boys everywhere she looks.
This action has consequences.

“I want to watch the sun rise.” Ben muttered, “It reminds me that even as the dark sets in, the light will come back around eventually. It always does. It has become hard to remember that recently.”
The answer left Jaster speechless.
Ben sounded wounded– hurt in a way which would not heal with time alone. He looked like a tired Verd, a battle-weary warrior. Jaster had seen the look before. Many Verde wore it. The glint of deeply rooted pain sparked in Ben’s eyes too.
Instead of asking more, Jaster turned his head to watch the sunrise along with Ben.
It was peaceful.
The dawn of a new day.

Maybe she should have used her own blood for the ritual, though.

“Designation?” the bounty hunter grinds out.
The answer slips easily out of his lips this time. “CC-2224.”
Boba Fett curses, harsh and quiet. His hands are shaking. “Kote?” he whispers, and his voice breaks on the word.
CC-2224 can hear screaming. The comms are silent, and the room is still, and no one else reacts to the noise. And yet… someone is screaming. He can hear it.
CC-2224 expected another routine stop at the Fortress Inquisitorius, staring unseeingly at identical grey walls while Vader tortured Jedi prisoners far below. He certainly didn’t think he'd be thrown back into his mind, back in time, and dragged along with five children determined to save the galaxy one Mandalorian at a time.
