    The Battle for the Dawn is won, but everyone Bran knew was dead, so he throws a tantrum of epic proportions and drags Bloodraven into tossing unsuspecting and just freshly killed Jon Snow back into the past by sacrificing themselves. Messing with time makes ripples in the timeline, and some things are not the same.

    Maester Aemon still has his sight when Jon Snow arrives at Castle Black to swear his vows. Targaryen’s might have typically had pale hair and purple eyes, but Maester Aemon would recognise his family anywhere.

    His vows have been tested three times before. This is his fourth and final test and, after nearly eighty years of being a bystander at the Wall whilst his family destroyed themselves, Aemon decides that enough is enough. He’s been a man of the Nights Watch for most of his life; but he’s been a Targaryen all his life.

    He might be old and trapped at the Wall, but he grew up in Kings Landing and no one knows the Game of Thrones like he does.

    And so, everything changes.

An old friend from Terrasen returns, demanding payment for a life debt.

    As Daenerys fulfills her promises, she realizes she is a conqueror like Aegon Targaryen. With the new conquered Kingdoms under her reign, she breaks off her betrothal to the High Lord in a dark pursuit of power. Tywin Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon will no longer tolerate this Silver Queen with dragons who has managed to evade assassins and continues to grow more powerful.

    Westeros made a foolish mistake by hurting her loved ones and challenging the Blood of Old Valyria. The dragon has truly awakened.
