Kevin stared at him, much too dignified to outwardly seem as agog as Jeremy knew him to be in his mind. “I’ll be damned,” he quietly exclaimed, letting out a barking laugh that reminded Jeremy of Wymack.
“You will indeed be damned, if stories about Nathaniel are true,” Jeremy warned him, rapping his knuckles on the table between them twice.
Kevin rolled his eyes and stood up in one graceful movement that belied the amount of alcohol Jeremy knew he’d imbibed while listening to Jeremy rant about a topic that was already well-known and treasured by Kevin. He scoffed at Jeremy and placed his cup on the table, as empty as Jeremy’s honest hopes for his own future. “Why the hell not, let’s go find Nathaniel.”
“Let’s,” Jeremy replied, grimacing.

It was supposed to be just one last year. One last year before he said goodbye to the future he might have had, to the life he craved. It was supposed to be one last breath of Exy before he cut all ties with the normal kid he’d always wished he was, but like most of his plans that involved any sort of indulgence, it went askew pretty early on with no hope of ever rectifying itself.

Summary
Qifrey knows that mixing pleasure and pain is dangerous, but he also knows that he cannot have the former without the latter. He loves Olly too much to drag him into a messy love life on top of everything else.
Easthies feels inexplicably attracted to Qifrey.
They both know it's not love but why shouldn't they use each other for pleasure until they get tired of it?
Spoilers up to chapter 95.
Set between Qifrey's fourth and fifth test. To me, this feels like their (broke?) student days, maybe their early twenties. In my headcanon Easthies is slightly older. Qifrey does not yet wear glasses. I do not write slow burn, I burn the candle on both ends and I aim for maximum emotional damage. To me Orufrey is endgame and Easfrey is delicious, delicious toxic yaoi. I mean look at that dirty look at the very beginning of chapter 50.

Summary
Qifrey didn't give off the impression that he was physically strong. On the contrary, he looked like a frail ice prince—a character in those fairy tales Olruggio had read about when he was young.
Or, Olruggio struggles to come to terms with Qifrey's not-so-hidden strength. In the process of it, he uncovers a rather concerning truth about himself.
