    She murmurs, stepping a little closer and undoing her crimson scarf, her collarbones set starkly against pale skin visible.

    Aang’s eyes narrowed, the cogs in his brain turning.

    He knew she wasn’t going to kill him.

    She would’ve the first tryst, or at least the second. But there was the matter of predictability. And Aang hadn’t accounted for the sheer amount of want clogging his veins.

    He faltered.

    “Well- uhm-”

    He cleared his throat and looked away, his blood rushing in his ears.

    “...with your bending? Strike me down with lightning in a heated dispute?”

    Azula softens a little, chuckling as her hand on his jaw tightens and pulls him back to face her.

    “No. I would do it with my hands."
