Summary
A loud buzzing sounds between her ears. It drowns out the ED, the commentary of the other nurses as Ahmad hits play on a video cued up from a local news’ YouTube channel that reads HOSTAGE SITUATION AT PITTSBURGH BANK in the lower chyron.
The video shows a shaky camera zoomed way far in as, yeah, that’s definitely Jack, walking toward the front doors of a Philly First National branch with his hands held up in surrender.
Or—

Summary
Samira leaned forward conspiratorially, “Is he always this much of a flirt?”
Lena grinned at her, “Only to keep his patient satisfaction scores up.”
Samira swivelled to face him, a pleased smile on her face, “I knew you were only being nice to me for a good review.”
Jack shoved his hands into the front pockets of his scrubs, mainly to make sure they didn’t do something stupid like tuck the errant curl on her cheekbone behind her ear, “What can I say Ms Mohan, you had me on my best behaviour.”
—---
Doctor Jack Abbot never expected his life to be flipped upside down when Florist Samira Mohan came into his ED one late Thursday evening. Especially when she smelt like eucalyptus, roses and vanilla, and looked like the embodiment of sunshine.Series
