Summary
It started from the shadows, from the softly spoken words which tempted him in. It started before he even knew who he was, from the soul he shared with the man, from the soul he knew as well as his own. It started when everything he knew was pain and he found a safe place from the hems of the man he saw in countless unfamiliar faces, looking after him, following him, keeping him safe.
It started long before he knew what he was.
It started long before he met the man whose soul he was carrying and healing.

Harry had a guardian angel, in a sense. Someone who changed faces like clothes and asked him to call himself Tom. He knew Tom wasn't a guardian angel for real but he felt like it, because there was no such thing as magic. Years of building trust and healing Harry while keeping him relatively safe, making sure that he wouldn't return to his relatives after his first year in Hogwarts and one soulbond later they found themselves falling in love with each other. To Harry's annoyance, Tom had surprising morals for the Dark Lord and to Tom's frustration Harry was a horny teenager.

Summary
Harry has been blamed for being the Heir of Slytherin, and it seems like everyone in the school is against him. All he wants is to not be Harry Potter and have a normal life for once. A wish that is impossible when you are known as the Boy-Who-Lived.
This will be very different from my "Serpent Lies in Crimson." This is a slash.
I don't own any of the Harry Potter books or movies. As I could never match the genius that is J.K. Rowling.
