He wheeled around. Another of those red, white-faced figures had Wild seized by the hair. Wild kicked and twisted, but they were twice his size, and he couldn’t get close enough to land a hit. Another red figure—they were descending wraith-like down the cliffs, they were around him, around Wild—stepped in and grabbed his flailing limbs.
An ambush.
Wild and Twilight have their first run in with the Yiga and stumble upon Kakariko Village in the process. The Sheikah are less than friendly.

There was a loud knock at the door. Leon ignored it and continued splashing water on his face. Whatever they had to sell, he didn’t want it.
“What is so important that you’re knocking so much?” He snapped. He looked down at the tiny eight-year-old boy standing in front of him. Leon’s breathing stopped, and for a second, all he could see was his little boy, Link, staring back at him. But this wasn't him. His hair was purple, and his irises were red. His skin was tan, and his teeth were too sharp. He had a black eye, and his face was beginning to swell.
“Mister, please, can I hide in your house? I’m hiding from Lord Vaati!” The boy peeped.
