Darkness filled his vision.
He couldn’t turn his head, he couldn’t even feel it.
He stared up at the sky in a daze, no stars in sight. The city below was too bright, swallowing the night whole.
He couldn’t remember anything.
Nothing but his dad’s words
“Jump, my little bird. I’ll always catch you”
The words echoing through his pounding head, over and over, too loud.
He lay there, bleeding.
His dad wasn’t there to catch him this time.

Batman sighed, “If you just let us hel-“
Peter shot him a look, “You are not kidnapping me!”
Batman frowned deeper, mumbling like Eve did when Peter had to tell her off, “Wouldn’t be kidnapping.”
Peter patted his face in a jokingly comforting gesture- “Maybe one day when I’m bleeding out and absolutely, 100% going to die, I’ll allow you to kidnap me.”
Batman called after him whilst he swung away- “I don’t like the fact you didn’t say if!”

Summary
Peter Parker died.
He'd lived through a fatal spider bite, the transformation that came from that bite, a shit ton of bullet, knife, explosion etc wounds, a building falling down on him. He'd also lived through a war on another planet, getting quite literally dusted out of existence, and then coming back to fight yet another war. And more, he'd lived through a betrayal of someone he trusted with his life, and lived through death threats, bricks thrown at his windows, temporary homelessness, and villains coming from different dimensions with the sole intention to kill him.
He'd lived through it all.
Until one day, he didn't.
Or,
Peter Parker falls through a portal during a fight
And dies.
Over and over again, before being saved by a man in a red helmet. -

Summary
Peter is a struggling teen and it all gets worse when he dies (yes dies). He wakes up in a strange place where people are very interested in what makes him special.
Jason does not get along with his family, if he has to talk to someone, he'll maybe call Dick. Jason is on a revenge trail after his death trip and just wants to be alone. Until he hears about a new kid under the League of Assassins. Damian was supposed to be the last.
