As per usual, it was a busy day for the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Door to door marketing, making preparations for funerals, going off to give her friends a scare. This of course came with the odd looks that were always thrown her way as she walked down the street. An overly cheerful demeanor for someone in her line of work, as she’d heard time and time again. Still, it was nothing she wasn’t used to, nor did she really mind.
So that begs the question, what led Hu Tao to end up sobbing in the arms of the person she trusted most, Zhongli, on that evening? Even curiouser , how did something like that not happen sooner, all things considered?
