It all began when Crowley, the titan of time and the harvest, swallowed each of his five children one by one as they were born, in a spiteful rage against the prophecy that foretold that he would be overthrown by one of them, just like how he overthrew his father. Crowley wanted to be king for the rest of time and he would ensure that no one would take his crown. Sickened by his husband’s actions, Ambrose, the other parent of Crowley’s children, let Crowley believe that five children was all that they had, when in reality, they had six.
That sixth child's name was Leona, and he would be the one to conquer his father and slice his siblings out of their flesh prison.
And what a dark and nasty flesh prison it was.
“Was it not possible for you to come any sooner?” Lilia complained, wiping ichor out of his sharpened teeth. “Do you know how disgusting it is in there? And boring too! All I could do was play cards with Malleus and bully Idia whenever he tried to come out from his corner of Papa’s stomach.”

The doors open with a heaving groan, and Touya leans forward in open interest. He was expecting a large cage to be wheeled in, containing some fantastical creature like a small wyvern or a kirin. Instead the servants yank on heavy chains, pulling in a young man with massive crimson wings.
“A harpy, your majesty, tamed and trained for battle by the enemy. He was captured in combat, and has spent the last six months undergoing training to become a suitable pet for the royal household. I give him to you, your majesty, to serve whichever role his highness pleases.”
