Summary
Arthur? His voice is soft. Are you okay?
No. No, he isn’t.
“Yes. Just–just give me a minute.” His voice sounds rougher than he’d like to admit. He thunks the back of his head against the door and opens his eyes. “It’s been a long day.”
John softly rumbles in agreement before finding Arthur’s hand. With the pad of his thumb, he massages the base of his knuckles with small, circular motions. They stay like that for a few seconds, appreciating each other’s silence and the continued rise and fall of Arthur’s chest.
After escaping the mines in Addison, John and Arthur find refuge in a quiet hotel, where Arthur takes a much-needed bath. John helps him with it.

Summary
Chief Engineer Vren, a member of the large and highly territorial species the Drelnians, has not been to his homeworld in years, and he hasn't taken part in a hunt in longer. When he discovers that a ship the Bacchus is working with is planning to host a hunt, and a Drelnian woman asks if he thinks he can catch her, he finds that he can no longer resist his desire to take part in the primal and animal ritual.

“Got a smoke, handsome?” Joker asks, and finally he sidles up to the solitary figure standing under the awning.
There is a pause, a still moment where Matches’ eyes rove over him, taking in his makeup and wig, the glittery dress that clings to him, before recognition dawns and his gaze hardens, darkening to something else entirely.
“Pretty girl like you? I’ve got anythin’ ya want,” he says, but his eyes offer up a litany of questions. Anything, he says, but the angry set of his eyes screams what are you doing here, Joker? and what do you want? and are you going to make me hurt you?
