Her eyes were still tired from sleep; the deep green of her robe set her hair and skin off so both glowed in the dawn light; he could see the outline of her legs through the nightgown below the hem of her robe. He wondered if a better man would hide his eyes, run out the door, fly out the window.

Jack didn't answer him for a long moment and Robby was just about to ask again when he finally spoke.
