Summary
Buck woke up in his bed, and for a second he was able to forget it all. He had just had the amazing dream. He and the rest of A Shift had to try and pull a house back down to the ground after a resident attached one too many balloons to the exterior (he really needed to stop watching Pixar movies to fall asleep but that was a whole other thing). He was laughing and giggling along with the rest of his chosen family when his alarm blared to life and took him back to reality in his bedroom. For a few brief moments, he laid awake and thought about the look on the rest of their faces when he would recount exactly what went down. How Chim had started to rise with the rest of the house because he foolishly was grabbing as many balloons as possible without popping any. How Hen was desperately holding onto Chim's ankle in an attempt to keep him from going fully airborne. How Eddie was arguing with the homeowner about how foolish it was to put his house in danger with a child inside. And how Bobby had taken to entertaining the kid they had managed to get safely on the ground, both of them giggling with high pitched voices from the helium they inhaled from stray balloons dancing in the wind.
Then he remembered.
