  Summary

  The Mando'ade have a long tradition of verse, and the more well known war songs are far from the only subject Mandalorian poets have tackled.
  Enclosed herein is Taylir Par Ni Gar Casa, one of the oldest known love poems in Mando'a, translated to Galactic Basic (translator's notes included).

  Or, I had an idea that I could write a poem old enough that Mandalorian Wars/KOTOR era characters could reference it, and things escalated from there.

  Summary

  It's been seventeen years since Balto was forced to leave his home, and Lester and Miriam Fair, behind. He did not expect his old friends to send a letter saying that their son had left Gongaga for Midgar, and planned to put himself in immense danger by joining the SOLDIER program.
  Balto expected even less that he would be already too late.

  Or, Balto crashes out over finding out that his friends' kid is A, in Midgar, and B, in danger, and almost stabs someone (Angeal) over it. Almost.

  Only now the past she's hunting is hunting her too, and she can't keep her friends out of the crossfire forever.

  (The summary may be a bit melodramatic, but I couldn't think of a better way to put it.)
