Summary
When Bella Swan dies in child birth, the Cullens leave Forks. Jacob is left to deal with his grief alone, blaming Edward for everything.
As the vampire threat is non existent, everyone, even the pack, begins to move on. Soon, Jacob is the only one unable to forget. Soon Jacob is the only one left anyway. He is completely alone.
Edward has to escape. Rosalie is too busy playing happy families to see how much it's tearing him inside. He chooses to return to Forks, to the place where she died, because he can't escape her ghost anyway.
Jacob seeks him out as soon as he gets into town. Goes to confront him, or use him as a punching bag. Either way, he's going to end Edward's life. He never expects to find a kindred spirit, never expects to be linked to Edward by a shared grief.
As they become friends, Jacob has to face the strange feelings that he's always had for the vampire, and Edward is having a hard time figuring out why Jacob is so different from the man he remembers.
Edward/Jacob in later chapters.

Summary
Hermione Granger needed a change. Not a soulmark. Not a dragon-infested war zone. And definitely not Charlie Weasley—who, unfortunately, comes with all of the above.
Fresh off a breakup and burnt out from Ministry life, she signs up for a year at a Romanian dragon reserve. There, she finds fire, chaos, and a deeply inconvenient attraction to the tattooed lead handler who communicates exclusively in orders, sarcasm, and meaningful glances.
But as poachers close in, the past comes calling, and as fairy lights start reacting to foreign magic, Hermione begins to suspect the dragons aren’t the most dangerous thing here.
Welcome to the reserve. Try not to die.

Summary
Oliver Wood is living his dream as the starting Keeper for Puddlemere United. He also just broke up with the man he'd been with for six years. He's lost, and doesn't know where to turn after spending so much time with someone who took every opportunity to mock his one true passion. But he's also the only person he trusted with demons that had been haunting him for years.
Marcus Flint has never slept with the same man twice. He wouldn't know what would disappoint his parents more, him sleeping with men when they wanted him to settle down with a pureblood woman or that all those men have been muggles. But Marcus is a man who would prefer to keep his encounters with men who were easy to shake off.
It has been six year since those former rivals had so much given the other a thought. But when they have a by chance encounter when they're both at their most vulnerable, they develop a relationship neither would have imagined in their teenage years.
Marcus and Oliver find that the other may be a place of trust, love, and emotional vulnerability. Things neither of them had ever been good at.

He picked up pace. “Hey—Reg!”
Still nothing. The bastard was ignoring him.
James turned a corner—and stopped dead.
Regulus was standing in the middle of an abandoned classroom, breathing like he’d just run a marathon. His back hit the wall with a thud. And then again. And again.
James blinked. His fury evaporated so fast it left him dizzy.Or: James sees his "Most Hated Enemy" and decides that Soft Domming him into selfcare is the move
