Clover is dead. Qrow struggles to accept this while helping his family and Mantle in their darkest hour, determined not to mess things up this time. He’s doing his best.
Clover is *also* pretty sure he's dead. Waking up in a hospital room challenges this idea and everything else he's accepted to this point. But his efforts to fix things rapidly go sideways. Turn Grimm, even.
Salem is not dead. She's going to break Atlas, and no one, no group, no mutually pining set of idiots is going to stop her. Probably. Right?

In a universe where Salem holds off on an all out attack on Mantle, Cinder never breaks into Ironwood's office and Ironwood never issues an arrest warrant for Teams RWBY, JNR and Qrow, Robyn, Clover and Qrow still go to Mantle to arrest Tyrian.
Tyrian still crashes the ship.
Back on Atlas, all Harriet can do is watch her teammates' auras dip and hope backup arrives in time.
