Summary
Louis Du Pointe Du Lac is a twenty five year old man, stuck in a marriage with a daughter he adores, he’s a family man, a provider with good old southern values… ignoring the fact that he’s miserable and gay and can’t pursue the career he wants.
Lestat De Lioncourt aka The vampire Lestat is a thirty two year old world famous rockstar with a vampire gimmick, invigorated by his complete and utter lack of participating in social norms, though a romantic at heart ignoring his diva-ish behavior that’s causing issues personally and professionally.
Realistically they never should’ve crossed paths let alone fell in love but thanks to Daniel Molloy making a documentary about Lestat and needing a camera man they do and boy do they fall.

Summary
The girl, the familiar girl in her scorched yellow dress, tilts her head at Lestat from the other side of the separating glass, wrinkling her nose at him with nearly as much disdain as she did at the end of her life, standing barefoot and bleeding on a stage that would never accept her as one of its own, and the expression almost makes Lestat trip over his words, stumbling and stuttering and unraveling as he chokes against the poison of her forever lingering mockery.
Or, for the past eighty years, Claudia has followed Lestat wherever he has gone.
