Eddie knew he’d made a mistake when the alcohol started to go down like water. He’d barely managed to grab hold of the shot glass before he knocked it back. Considering the shot was vodka, the lack of cringing was a definite sign. His flushed cheeks and glassy eyes were another dead giveaway.

It was supposed to be a great day. A happy day. A day that Buck would celebrate yearly. In a matter of seconds, everything went wrong. One moment Buck had been calling out for the missing workers. The next, the roof caved in.
I suck at summaries- Basically, a simple call ends up being Buck's last. And Eddie being there to the very end.
