Luo Binghe might still be young, but Shen Qingqiu had to think ahead if he wanted to avoid the human-stick fate. So in order to save his own skin, Shen Qingqiu had to gain the favor of the protagonist, but also clear his name from the other things the original goods was guilty about.
The best way to do that was to come out of the closet. Wait, not like that! Shen Qingqiu wasn’t actually gay or anything, but having no attraction for the fairer sex would help explain much of his lechery rumors and horrible predator accusations, right?

Even Shen Qingqiu, who had always spat on his progress and scorned his most earnest efforts, never believing in him for a moment, would have to look at him and praise him for his skill between a woman's legs.Luo Binghe reads something very interesting in Mingyan's book, and draws the absolute incorrect assumptions from it. So does Shen Qingqiu.
