That perked Bruce's ears up, as he turned to face Booster. "A gag gift?"
The gold endowed "hero" smiled in a very unheroic way, Bruce could practically hear Ted shiver behind him.
"Oh. Buddy. Gag gifts are the best! You never got one?"
"I prefer all my gifts to be thought out and put with care, not something silly that isn't useful or means nothing to me."
"But it does mean something! Best friendship!" That last part he said while gripping Batman's shoulder, looking at the wall like there was some fake audience. As if—what like he's in some weird fanfiction or TV show?

The Justice League play Fuck, Marry, Kill. Hal begins to rethink Superman’s critical thinking skills. Barry is just grateful for the team bonding moment. And Bruce is extremely amused by the whole situation... until he isn't.

“Am I not?” Viktor frowns. “What I mean is, we have sex.”
“You what?”
“Surely I am not using that term incor—”
“You’re fucking that guy?”
Viktor quirks an eyebrow. “Not at the moment.”
When Viktor's friend and occasional lover visits the lab, Jayce becomes irritable and snappish. Viktor tries to determine what's bothering him, but everything he says seems to make it worse.
What did he do wrong, and how can he fix it?

Viktor makes a little sound partway between an exhale and a chuckle.

Willem grins, blowing a bubble as they look Jayce up and down. “Did ya forget the date, baby?”
Jayce makes an odd sound then, almost like he is choking on something, and Viktor ignores Willem’s stupid little jab to turn to his partner.
“Are you alright Jayce?”
The man in question finally seems to snap out of his reverie and nods. He is standing stiffer than Viktor has ever seen him; even during his trial, he looked more relaxed.
“I’ll, uh. I’ll go back to working.”
