He hadn’t even managed to put on shoes when Charlie’s loud, desolated groan at the other end of the hotel had made him rush out of his room, and his slippers and the hems of his pyjama bottoms were slowly getting soaked through. Why the fuck had he even bothered to change? He loved Charlie (see constants no. 1-4), but even he had to admit his current discomfort was solely the result of the list of healthy bedtime rituals she’d organised for him when, allegedly, the bags under his eyes had started developing a gravitational pull.
In which Lucifer has insomnia, the hotel is moderately alive, and Alastor is in over his head.

Summary
If pressed, Lucifer didn’t know what he’d expected to happen to Adam after getting that much-deserved stabbing. Probably nothing. As in, actual nothing, obsolescence, a complete eradication from each and every plane of existence so that nobody would have to hear a single fucking shitty guitar riff again.
In retrospect, that must have been one of Lucifer’s very rare sparks of unfounded optimism.Or: 5 times Adam got put back in his place + 1 time Vox got the same treatment

In their defence, they hadn't tried to hide it. Both were private people, but they thought they were talking openly about it with the people closest to them.
It was not their fault that no one thought such a thing could be real. Come on, Lucifer and Alastor? How could it be true that they were dating?
