Summary
He reaches a hand out, more gently than he ever has, and lightly caresses the small head of the nearest bird. The bird immediately coos and hops a few times before settling on his wavy mess of hair. Then, after pecking around for a few seconds, his hair suddenly comes undone, waving in the light breeze, and the countless other hidden birds appear and fly to his hair like it's a large nest.
It’s soothing and nostalgic, and it brings a lump to his throat when he remembers the familiar sensation from when he was young to when he was an elder of Hwasan. Just like the Hwasan Ibex, these birds have always cared for him over the course of their generations, no matter how old he’d gotten. Right as he begins to nod off once more, enjoying the soft memories, the birds begin to pull at his hair.
Tight.
Too… Too tight! It’s too tight!!!
“AAAH-GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU FREAKS!!!”
