Summary
Helen is an unstoppable force, if she wants something she won’t stop until she gets it. In this case she wants to know what’s going on.
But Mad, she’s an immovable object. Helen has always needed to push more, harder, longer, before she can get what she wants.
So instead of compromising, she pushes.
“Let’s just go, and we’ll leave if we’re not having a good time. Sound good?”
“Fine. Come on.” Mad turns again to the door and walks out, not bothering to hold it open for Helen.

Mad and Hel go to a Halloween party that neither of them actually want to be at. They end up on a child related side quest. It brings up some things for Mad. Hel is annoyed with her about it. They get it together eventually.

“This is a lot to process right now. Would you like them to step outside? Maybe take a break?”
Thank God someone said it. Jesus.
“Yes. Good idea. Yeah, yep, yes, please.”
The Stark’s are rushed out of the room and Peter jumps far away from the door in order to not have to touch them right now. He needs to be far away. The only person that doesn’t leave is the social worker lady, and that's fine. She’s not a liar. She’s the only one giving him any choices today.
“Can we open that window, please?” He requests, finally giving in and sitting down.
The woman rushes to the window, pushing it up.
“Do you want to talk? Or just sit here?”
He has no idea what to say, but also, if he sits here in silence he’ll probably explode. When he doesn’t respond right away, still breathing unevenly, she makes a comment on a bird she sees outside. It’s a red cardinal, apparently when you see one it means someone who passed away is watching over you.
He likes this woman.

“A hero? Like you? You're a lab rat, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle!”
He hadn’t meant to say that. Truly, he hadn’t. He’s supposed to be actively diffusing the situation. Actually, he's supposed to be doing the mature thing and moving forward with the mission. But in his opinion it was an achievement he’d gone that long without actually retaliating. You can only push a man so far.
“Put on the suit, let's go a few rounds.”
So, he’s not succeeding in his endeavor to not fight Captain America. If you listen closely, you might be able to hear Howard Stark screeching from his penthouse in hell.

This starts off during Marvel’s Avengers and leaves off after the fight in a world where they all stayed to help clean up the aftermath and figure out what’s next for the Avengers. Inspired by what it would be like if the writers acknowledged at all that Steve Rogers was technically the youngest on the team and maybe gave him some time to adjust and show his personality.

Summary
Of all the things to be least expected from a group of reincarnated queens of england, this is the strangest. Also perhaps the most infuriating, or entertaining, depending on who you are. It’s unexpected, inaccurate, and also quite ironic.
Upon reincarnation, the queens had a general sense of what age they were in their new bodies. There seemed to have been some kind of order, though it didn’t make much sense. Kitty’s the youngest, and she was the youngest when she died. They had expected Jane to be the second youngest, so that first day when they woke up Anna had addressed the seemingly second youngest of the bunch.
Only to be made aware that it is Catalina.
Catalina de Aragon reincarnated as a sixteen year old.
And she was very offended by this.

“What are you doing here,” is all he can think to say. He whirls around, and there he is. On Crowley’s right, standing there like he’d never left. Where he belongs, Crowley’s mind helpfully supplies. He wishes he could punch himself in the brain, knock the thoughts right on out of there.

Rating and warnings for Chapter 13, the rest being far more mild. Some slight amendments to the 2011 FanFiction version, nothing major.
Once again, I apologise to the fandom for reading a comedy and writing a tragedy.

It’s just all a little too nice, having Aziraphale here. In the cottage. Here within Crowley’s reach again. He isn’t going to reach, but it’s nice to know he could, if he wanted to. Which he doesn’t.
