“I’m set dressing,” Fabian amends, taking another slice of pizza. “I’m honored.”

Summary
It starts with the death of King Itham of Fallinel. Riz's abduction by the Court of Stars would've been a non-starter if it hadn't been revealed that he was the last of the king's line after his father's sisters refused the throne. Someone should've warned the Court of Stars the consequences of taking one of their own. It's a no holds barred rescue mission and if the Bad Kids have to dismantle the Court of Stars, so be it.
But it won't end there. The Shadow Cat is manipulating events from the shadows and it's up to the Bad Kids to find out what's rotten in the material plane, no matter the cost.Series

Summary

Riz speaks over Fabian's protests. “Can you tell us a little about that 'right' mindset we should have?” He needs to take the time to dig for more information. He knows they already walked into a trap but maybe he can coax something out of the host that could help them with the challenge.
“Why, a simple appreciation for sacrifice! You don’t know what you have until it’s gone, yes? The wheel will simply help you to understand that. It will force you to understand, that is.”
