Summary
The morning glories had closed up in the darkness, and probably were going to shrivel in the frost overnight, but I could still remember exactly where I had been sitting when he passed by. I dipped a spoon into the precious dregs of of my honey from last fall and let it drizzle into the water. It had crystalized a bit over the winter and I had to scrape the last of it off the spoon with the side of my finger. I left the fish sitting on the bank with the morning glories.
Helios had always recommended honey and wine for gods, but I didn't have any wine and didn't know where I could get it out here anyway. Besides one time I saw an infantryman successfully call a goddess with nothing but his daily ration of smallbeer and a pinch of salt. I hoped the god would understand. The honey probably counted for extra since I'd harvested it myself from the hives under the trees beside my cabin—I bet those ancient Greek knights just bought theirs from someone.

"You, uh, saw the news too?"
"I did." Then, in the interest of full disclosure, Valery admitted, "Actually, I saw the crab rave video posted on Senator Gale's social media."

“Don’t let the blood get into your ship, okay?”
That made Grace pause. “What?!”
“If I die, you have to get my body out of here,” the man pleaded, but Grace had to go. His oxygen was out. The guy would be dead in six minutes. “You have to get me out, even if I’m dead. Hey!”
“Just hold on!” Grace propelled himself through zero gravity, away from the radio.
“Don’t leave me here-!” The roar echoed through the ship halls.

When Ryland Grace complained about being a little bored, maybe a little lonely, he thought a nostalgic trip around Erid would fix him right up. The last thing he expected was to find deadly space bacteria in deep space and a human. Alive.

Summary
Whatever happened here was bad. Irrevocably, inexplicably, inarticulably bad in a way that the most basal parts of his being wants nothing more than to escape from. But Grace can't turn away.
After encountering what appears to be a last hoo-ra emergency mission attempt from Earth caught up in the Hail Mary's wake, Grace and Rocky discover a single, severely injured human being quite literally encased in what Grace can only describe as a crime scene. A horror movie. And when he wakes up? He's mad. Really mad. Talking to the walls mad. Now they have to figure out just where he came from and why. Things are further complicated when all the newcomer (Simon, they learn) can talk about is missing planets, haunted oceans, and non-existent space stations. That and the really weird data they've been picking up on.
Maybe part of solving that is, much to Rocky's enthusiasm; both Grace and Simon slowly realizing how lonely they are. -

Simon waited.
Waited for them to apologize. Tell him there’s nothing they could do. That he wasn’t worth the trouble or resources, that he wasn’t worth the time.
But that never came.
Instead, after a second Grace came back on the line, his voice sounding determined now. “Alright,” he said. “Hang tight.”
Simon blinked slowly. “What?”

A comic re-posted from my Tumblr
There's no reason Simon would wake up on the Hail Mary and act rationally after dying in a blood ocean.
So, he doesn't
Good luck to Grace and Rocky

Summary
A broken, disillusioned Steve Rogers is afflicted by a delusion that the mysterious assassin who nearly killed him is actually his best friend, who died 70 years ago. SHIELD wants to lock him up and return him to being a perfect, sparkling nationalist symbol as quickly as possible. Sam Wilson, who has wrestled with his own disillusionment and his own ghosts, knows that Steve needs compassion and the support of a true friend, not a forced regime of recovery that takes away what is left of his shattered autonomy.
Meanwhile, as Natasha tries to track down the Winter Soldier, her discoveries get more and more disturbing. She uncovers footage of the Soldier being subjected to, and forced to commit, horrific acts to maintain Hydra's cruel hierarchy. What's more, his resemblance to Steve's dead friend is too close to be coincidence. Sam and Natasha grow determined to stop the Soldier from being recaptured by his abusers, but how will Steve react when he learns the true extent of the Soldier's torture, and the true horror of what he was twisted into?
Is the Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes? Or is he a thing wearing Bucky Barnes's face?
Which of those things is worse?
