Uncaring of his ego or the moving loyalty, Shang Qinghua grabbed another handful of melon seeds with an uninterested expression.
“Wow, that’s rough buddy.” He said, cracking the shells and passing every other one to his pawmi.
“Don’t ‘that’s rough buddy’ me!” Shen Qingqiu snapped, hitting the shitty author with his fan.
“What do you want me to say?” Whined Shang Qinghua, arms over his head to cushion the blows. His pawmi continued to eat, disinterested in its trainer’s woe. “My pokemon all bully me! And I raised them all! Well, minus one.”
“What even is the equivalent of gym badges to tame traded pokemon in this shitty world? I’m already a peak lord - if I show up to training places with pokemon who turn on me, won’t that just look pathetic?”
“Join the club.” Shang Qinghua said. He reached from where he’d ducked under the table, feeling around until he found the bowl of melon seeds. He pulled them under with him, spiteful.
Belonging to the same club as Airplane-bro…
He wanted that refund NOW.

Kageyama honest-to-god smiled. Not just a competitive smirk or a feigned grin for a photo op-- but an open, genuine smile. Diego nearly dropped his water bottle.
And if the smile wasn’t shocking enough, Diego noticed something as Kageyama pulled off his practice shirt; a thin black cord looping around his neck, starkly contrasting against pale skin. Which was surprising enough (he didn’t peg Kageyama as the jewelry type), but what hung from the bottom of the necklace stopped Diego in his tracks.
There, dangling from the cord, light catching on its smooth surface, was a ring.
A fucking gold ring.

Summary
On the desk in between Yue Qingyuan and Shen Qingqiu was a printout of the email. Shen Qingqiu refused to look at it. If he tried very hard, he could pretend it wasn’t there. When the email had hit his inbox this morning, Shen Qingqiu had read it and reread enough to have it memorized, as he tried to comprehend the meaning of these words arranged in this order. The second that comprehension dawned upon him, he’d deleted the email then promptly tried to forget everything about it.
He wasn’t being very successful on that front.
The message, written with the extraordinary eloquence that Shen Qingqiu knew Luo Binghe was capable of, had been sent en masse to the entire faculty and student body. It stated two main points. Firstly, that Luo Binghe attested that Shen Qingqiu had never slept with, assaulted, molested, groomed, or was in any way inappropriate to him during his time at Cang Qiong Academy (thanks for the endorsement, Binghe!!). Secondly, that Luo Binghe was announcing this because he intended to marry Shen Qingqiu and did not want even the whisper of false impropriety to stain his Shizun’s name.

Summary

“No, Sokka. That’s what I’m saying. That’s exactly what we can’t do.”
“Well why don’t you just waterbend heal me? Swish swash, two minutes, all better!” he proposes.
“Sokka, I just told you we can’t rush this. Do you want me to mess up your head?”
“Well you’ve never had any problem hitting me in the head with water before now!"
After waking up from a training accident with no memory of the past seven years, Sokka is desperate for answers. But any wrongly triggered memory could risk permanent brain injury. No one will answer his questions about his new life. No one will talk about whatever weird thing is going on between him and Zuko.
Luckily Sokka is the greatest detective and most brilliant mind of his generation (according to himself).
