Honestly, if you told Akira when he was first put on probation back in 2016 that he’d suddenly become a Phantom Thief, shoot a God of Control in the face, stop a delusional reality-warping therapist, destroy another God born from the collective unconscious that sought to protect the status quo, put an end to an AI turned God, and then travel back in time and help defeat two manifestations of death in order to save a girl—one he’d grow to love with his entire being—he’d call you insane.
