His voice came out lower than usual, and he took another second to fix Hodgson’s already perfectly arranged collar, this time letting his fingers brush against his neck on purpose. He held eye contact the entire time. If Hodgson was looking for a signal, which Billy was quite sure he was at this point, that would be enough.-
Billy tries to move on from Hickey by hooking up with Hodgson instead. Unfortunately, when they get down to the hold he discovers someone else had the same idea.

Billy watched helplessly as the two volunteers Crozier had chosen pulled on the rope wrapped around Cornelius’ neck. The noose dug into the soft flesh of his throat, and Billy thought for a moment, nonsensically, that the rough material must be irritating Cornelius’ skin.

Summary
Sometimes, Solomon couldn’t help but wonder what Hickey and Gibson might be getting up to when they were alone. Did they feel for each other or was it a relation of convenience? Did they get a proper shag out of it or just fumbled around in the dark? Did Hickey ever push Gibson against the crates of the hold and have his way with him?
Solomon shuddered at those thoughts. Don’t go there, he admonished himself.
Because if he did, more often than not, his mind would start to imagine himself in Gibson’s place, and that was simply not acceptable.
He was Solomon Tozer, for Christ’s sake, Sergeant and representative of the Royal Marines aboard Terror, and he wasn’t a bloody sodomite.-
Thrown off balance by his experience at Carnivale, Sergeant Tozer’s deepest doubts and desires are laid bare before Hickey.

Before, they were only as close as Billy let anyone get, but lately the distance between them has been shrinking. He’s not the kind of guy who likes to talk about himself. Mostly he listens, prods, collects, but never offers. He learned young that when you’ve got a brain like he does you can’t afford to tell people what you’re thinking or how you really feel. Stu isn’t one of those people though, Stu has to keep his thoughts secret too and now this is theirs to keep, between them.
This is mostly only going to be in cannon with the first movie (the movie 3 retcon is not for me), but may also diverge in some places, especially when we get to the events closer to the end of the first movie. More specific tags and warnings will be in the end of chapter notes.Series

Summary
Little started to rise, winced, as though he were dizzy, and then froze at the sight of his own hand upon the railing of the sledge, the dirt and grime encrusted on his fingers and beneath his nails. He touched the fraying cuff of his sleeve as Goodsir leaned over to inspect the bandages, and then something seemed to occur to him. Faltering, he asked, “How long has it been since we set out from Greenhithe?”
“Greenhithe?” The surgeon echoed, in quiet horror.
A whole bloody lifetime, he thought. “Three years.” Solomon had lost track of the days, but Little himself had read aloud the date of their execution before the gallows. “It’s May. Of 1848.”
When Tommy Armitage knocks the last three years of memories from Lieutenant Little’s head, Solomon Tozer finds himself the linchpin in an elaborate ruse to convince Little that he joined their mutiny willingly.

Sol's not opposed to having girls in his flat - he can't say there's been any since Hickey took up residence on his couch (and occasionally in his bed), but he wouldn't say no if the opportunity presented itself.
What he does take issue with, however, is strange girls showing up uninvited and helping themselves to the contents of his fridge.

Michael anxiously moves closer to David's body, staring at him for a long, intense moment. He slowly reaches out a hand with the intention of resting it against David's cheek. He's not sure why he wants to. Maybe to make sure this wasn't some trick, and David wouldn't spring up, face twisted into those nightmarish, ghoulish features, ready to rip his throat out.
At least, that's what he tells himself.
